A Pokémon Go player caught a perfect Shiny Bulbasaur. But, they wished they hadn’t.
A Rare Find
A Shiny Bulbasaur with a Party Hat is rare. It shows up only during special events. Catching any Shiny Pokémon is a big deal. This Shiny Bulbasaur was even more special. It had top stats in all three categories. This made it the best Shiny Pokémon you could find.
The Problem
But, there was a big problem. This Shiny Bulbasaur couldn’t evolve into Venusaur yet.
The game doesn’t have the Party Hat Venusaur yet. We don’t know when it will come. So, the player has to wait.
Other Pokémon Progress
During Pokémon Go’s 7th Anniversary event, Wartortle and Blastoise with party hats became available. This means Squirtle fans could see their Pokémon fully evolve with party hats.
Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Charmander got their party hats in 2020. It took three years for Squirtle to get its full evolution line in the game.
Patience is Key
The player with the perfect Shiny Bulbasaur will have to wait for Venusaur. But, it will be worth it.
