Pokémon GO Battle League Season 3 to Begin on July 27
Niantic has announced that Pokémon GO Battle League Season 3 will kick off on July 27. This season promises to be more exciting than ever, with new rewards and features for trainers to enjoy.
During the upcoming season, trainers will have the opportunity to participate in all-new Battle League cups. These cups will have unique rules and restrictions, adding new challenges and strategies to the gameplay. The first cup of the season will be the Great League Remix, followed by the Ultra League Remix and the Master League Remix.
In addition to the cups, Season 3 will introduce a special avatar pose and an exclusive Pikachu Libre-themed avatar items for trainers who reach rank 10. This will serve as a testament to their skills and accomplishments in the Battle League.
Trainers will also have the chance to encounter new Pokémon as rewards for participating in battles and ranking up. Legendary Pokémon such as Thundurus, Landorus, and Tornadus will be available as rare rewards at rank 7. Additionally, Pokémon like Deino and Litwick will be part of rewards at higher ranks.
The GO Battle League leaderboard will now display trainers’ ranks and ratings from the previous season, allowing for a better understanding of their progress and improvement over time. This will provide a sense of accomplishment and motivation for trainers to strive for excellence.
To make competitive battling more engaging, Niantic is introducing several new attacks and move pool updates. These changes will bring a fresh dynamic to battles and enable trainers to diversify their strategies. As always, trainers will need to walk five kilometers to unlock the Battle League and start their PvP journey. During Season 3, trainers will receive more battle rewards, including Rare Candies and Stardust, making the experience even more rewarding. Trainers can also use Premium Battle Passes to earn more rewards and increase their chances of encountering rare Pokémon.
