Pokémon Fans Held a Single Wish for Scarlet and Violet Patch 1.2.0—But It Remains Unfulfilled

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s Latest Update Leaves Fans Wanting More

Game Freak, the brains behind Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, just released notes for the new 1.2.0 update. But it looks like the fans expected something else.

Instead of claps and cheers, fans quickly showed they missed a big update they really wanted. On Twitter, they shared their first thoughts about the patch notes.

“One player begs, “Please just fix performance issues, I beg you Gamefreak,” on Pokémon‘s subreddit. Another adds, “I’m dying for them to fix frame rate.”

The 1.2.0 version mainly tackles bug fixes and tweaks rather than new stuff. This left many hoping for big performance improvements upset.

The update did one thing for performance. It might show fewer Pokémon and people in some areas. This move is to stop the game from crashing.

But this “fix” could make the game’s world feel less real. Fans didn’t like that it doesn’t get to the core of the game’s performance problems.

What’s New and What’s Missing

A brighter side: The update fixes several bugs. For example, you can now switch items with the Y Button. Plus, there’s an easier way to select All Boxes in Party and Items view.

However, fans still hope for more.

Game Freak hinted at more changes and fixes coming before the patch goes live. But details on these remain scarce.

Fans Hold On for Future Fixes

Even with some fixes, players are eager for more improvements to game performance and gameplay.

Let’s stay tuned. Game Freak might surprise us with more updates soon.

Remember, the best is yet to come for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s world.
