Paradox Raikou and Cobalion Among New Pokémon Coming to Scarlet and Violet DLC

The Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC reveal on Aug. 8 was all about new adventures. The spotlight shone on new environments and Pokémon, but Game Freak revealed even more goodies. Let’s dive in!

New Additions on the Horizon

Fans got a sneak peek at Paradox Raikou, now dubbed Raging Bolt, and a new take on Cobalion called Iron Crown. These versions mix past and present looks, making them stand out. Raging Bolt takes on a giraffe-like form with Raikou’s trademark mane, while Iron Crown shows off sleek metal and impressive antlers.

The trailer hinted at underground spawns, potentially in Area Zero. It suggested that Paradox Entei and Terrakion might join the lineup. However, their release with The Teal Mask DLC on Sept. 13 wasn’t confirmed.

Unexpected Evolutions

Applin fans, rejoice! A third evolution is coming. Meet Dipplin, a candy apple Pokémon that keeps the Gigantimax charm of Appletun and Flapple. Also, Duraladon evolves into Archaludon, transforming from a building to a bridge. It combines bridge aesthetics with railgun capabilities, a unique hybrid.

Pokémon Go players will soon spot Scarlet and Violet Pokémon. Meanwhile, Terapagos, the gem turtle seen in various media, is confirmed as the Normal Forme of a larger Pokémon tied to the Terastal phenomena.

More Surprises Await

Ogrepon caught attention with its unique Terastallization and the hint of multiple forms. The Teal Mask DLC next month will reveal more. Fans are already buzzing with excitement over these teasers.

Stay tuned for more updates and get ready for a Pokémon adventure unlike any other. Remember, our journey into the Pokémon world is just beginning, and with each step, we uncover more mysteries waiting to be explored.
