Niantic unveils exciting events and updates for Pokémon GO in March
Pokémon GO players have something to look forward to this March as Niantic, the developers of the hit mobile game, have announced a series of exciting events and updates.
Therian Forme Tornadus Raid Battles
Starting from March 2nd, players will have the opportunity to challenge and capture the powerful Therian Forme Tornadus in Raid Battles. This Flying-type Pokémon will put your battling skills to the test, so assemble your team and get ready for the challenge!
Searching for Legends Event
From March 9th to March 14th, the Searching for Legends event will take place, focusing on Ground, Rock, and Steel-type Pokémon. Players will have increased encounters with Pokémon such as Nosepass, Geodude, Aron, and more. Additionally, the chance of encountering a Shiny Nosepass will also be increased, adding an extra element of excitement.
Vote for the Community Day Pokémon
Trainers can vote for the featured Pokémon for the Community Day event in March. The candidates include: Exeggcute, Vulpix, Machop, and Rhyhorn. The winning Pokémon will be featured in the Community Day event on March 15th, so cast your vote now and have a say in shaping the Pokémon GO experience.
Incense Day: Psychic Spectacular
On March 13th, the Incense Day: Psychic Spectacular event will be held. During this event, players will have increased chances of encountering Psychic-type Pokémon when using incense. Additionally, players can also earn extra Stardust and encounter special Field Research tasks.
Spring into Spring Event
Celebrate the arrival of spring with the Spring into Spring event from March 20th to March 25th. During this event, players will have increased encounters with Grass-type Pokémon such as Exeggcute and Marill. Additionally, players will have a higher chance of encountering a Shiny Exeggcute.
