Niantic announces details for Pokémon GO’s Gible Community Day
Niantic has recently revealed the highly anticipated details for Pokémon GO’s upcoming Community Day featuring Gible, one of the most sought-after Pokémon in the game. This event is set to take place on Sunday, June 6th, 2021, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm local time.
During this limited-time event, players will have the opportunity to encounter Gible more frequently in the wild. Gible, a Dragon and Ground type Pokémon, is known for being a fan favorite due to its powerful evolution, Garchomp. This Community Day offers an excellent chance for trainers to capture Gible in abundance and add it to their Pokédex.
In addition to increased Gible spawns, the event will also feature various other bonuses and exclusive rewards. Throughout the Community Day, Incense will last for three hours when activated, allowing players to attract more Pokémon. Furthermore, any Lure Modules activated during the event period will have an extended duration of three hours.
To make the search for Gible even more exciting, players can participate in special event-exclusive research tasks. By completing these tasks, trainers can earn exclusive rewards, including Sinnoh Stones and Gible Candy. Additionally, there will be a special one-time-purchase Community Day Box available in the in-game shop, containing items such as Elite Charged TMs, Poffins, Ultra Balls, and Incense.
Trainers can look forward to evolving their Gabite into Garchomp during or up to two hours after the event ends to obtain an exclusive move. This exclusive move, which will be announced closer to the Community Day, will enable Garchomp to perform exceptionally well in battles.
To maximize the benefits of this Community Day, players are encouraged to activate Eggs using a Super Incubator. Using this incubator will allow trainers to hatch Eggs significantly faster than using the regular incubators, enabling them to potentially hatch more Gible during the event.
