Get Ready for Magic in Pokémon Go
A week of magic and dreams awaits in Pokémon Go from Jan. 10 to 16. Dragons and Fairies steal the spotlight in the new event.
Mega Salamance debuts in Pokémon Go during this event. It features in Mega Raids from Jan. 10 to 18. This adds to Niantic’s efforts to bring more Hoenn Mega Evolutions to the game. This happens just before the Pokémon Go Tour: Hoenn in February.
Besides Mega Salamance flying high, look out for Clefairy, Drainit, Marill, Ralts, Deino, Goomy, Noibat, and Dedenne. These Pokémon will show up more often.
Lucky players might find a Shiny Dedenne for the first time. Also, snapping a photo might surprise you with a Dragon or Fairy-type Pokémon. Plus, Zekrom, Druddigon, Mawile, Dedenne, and others will appear in raids.

The event brings lots of special bonuses. Players can earn extra rewards for precise Poké Ball throws.
