Squid and Octopus-Themed Max Raid Battle Event Starts in Pokémon Sword and Shield
Pokémon Sword and Shield players are in for a treat as a new Max Raid Battle event featuring squid and octopus-themed Pokémon has started. The event is set to run until February 7.
During this event, players will have the opportunity to encounter several water-type Pokémon, including the squid-like Pokémon Malamar and the octopus-inspired Pokémon Clobbopus. Additionally, Gigantamax versions of Grapploct and Kingler will also be available to battle and capture.
To participate in the event, players need to have an internet connection and select “Mystery Gift” from the main menu. After selecting “Get Wild Area News,” they will have access to the special Max Raid Battles.
Players can team up with friends or join a lobby with other trainers to take on these powerful Pokémon. By successfully defeating them, players will have a chance to catch these unique Pokémon and earn valuable rewards.
