All the New Galarian Pokémon Confirmed for Sword and Shield’s DLC Packs

The Pokémon Company International has unveiled more Galarian Pokémon that trainers can catch in Pokémon Sword and Shield’s upcoming DLC packs, The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra. These expansions promise exciting new adventures, as well as additional content for players to explore.

1. Galarian Slowpoke

One of the flagship Pokémon in the Galar region is the Galarian Slowpoke. Known for their sluggishness, these Slowpoke species can now be found with a twist. They possess a different appearance and type when compared to Slowpoke in other regions.

2. Galarian Slowbro

Through the use of the Galarica Cuff item, Galarian Slowpoke can evolve into Galarian Slowbro. Along with changing its appearance, this evolution also alters Slowbro’s type, making it a Poison/Psychic dual-type Pokémon.

3. Galarian Slowking

Similarly, Galarian Slowpoke can evolve into Galarian Slowking when exposed to a Galarica Wreath item. This evolution not only changes Slowpoke’s appearance but also transforms its type to Poison/Psychic.

4. Kubfu

Kubfu is a new Legendary Pokémon that players will encounter on The Isle of Armor. Trainers can raise and train Kubfu under the guidance of Mustard, the Master of the Dojo. Kubfu has great potential and can evolve into a powerful Fighting-type or Dark/Fighting-type Pokémon.

5. Urshifu

Depending on the choices made during Kubfu’s training, it can evolve into one of two forms of Urshifu. Single-Strike Style Urshifu becomes a Dark/Fighting-type, while Rapid-Strike Style Urshifu takes on a Fighting/Water dual typing.

6. Zarude

Although not technically a Galarian form, Zarude is an elusive Mythical Pokémon players can obtain through an upcoming Pokémon movie tie-in. This Dark/Grass-type Pokémon has a unique ability and can learn exclusive moves.

With these new additions, Pokémon Sword and Shield are set to become even more captivating for trainers. The inclusion of Galarian forms, the introduction of Legendary Pokémon, and the intriguing storylines of the DLC packs give players plenty to look forward to.

So prepare yourself, trainers, as new adventures await in the Galar region with The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra expansions.
