July Research Breakthrough and Spotlight Hours in Pokémon Go: Larvitar and Buizel Take the Spotlight

Larvitar and Buizel Featured in July Research Breakthrough and Spotlight Hours in Pokémon GO

Pokémon GO players have a lot to look forward to in the month of July, with the popular mobile game featuring Larvitar as the Research Breakthrough encounter and Buizel as the star of the Spotlight Hours.

Throughout July, trainers who complete their Research Breakthrough tasks will have the chance to catch Larvitar, an adorable Rock/Ground-type Pokémon. This will provide players with a fantastic opportunity to add this sought-after Pokémon to their collection.

To encourage players to engage in the game even more, Pokémon GO will also introduce weekly Spotlight Hours featuring different Pokémon. On July 6, Buizel will be in the spotlight. Trainers will be able to encounter this Water-type Pokémon more frequently in the wild, giving them increased chances of catching it.

Transitioning to the next week, on July 13, trainers can look forward to encountering Magnemite and earning twice the experience points when catching Pokémon. This event will last for one hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.

On July 20, Eevee, the lovable Normal-type Pokémon with multiple evolutions, will be the star of the Spotlight Hour. During this period, encountering an Eevee will be more common, granting players an opportunity to evolve it into one of its many evolutions.

Lastly, on July 27, trainers can keep an eye out for the spawn rate of Starly. This normal/flying-type Pokémon will be more prevalent in the wild during the Spotlight Hour, allowing trainers to catch more of them and add them to their Pokédex.

Join in on the excitement and make sure to participate in these events to acquire rare Pokémon and advance in your Pokémon GO journey.
