Is It Possible to Find a Shiny Larvesta in Pokémon Go?

Larvesta Arrives in Pokémon Go!

On May 2, a new event, An Instinctive Hero, kicked off in Pokémon Go. It brought Larvesta, the Torch Pokémon, into the spotlight for the first time. This Bug/Fire-type, from the Unova region’s Generation V, sparks a lot of interest amongst players.

Larvesta, resembling a larva or moth, prefers living near volcanoes. Ancient tales suggest it came from the sun. Some believe it even hatched from the sun. With Larvesta and its evolved form, Volcarona, now in Pokémon Go, players are eager to catch these rare fire bugs.

Is Shiny Larvesta Available?

Larvesta hatches from 2km, 5km, and 10km Eggs during the An Instinctive Hero event starting May 2. Right now, you can’t find a Shiny Larvesta, but this might change. The Pokémon Master Journeys: The Series on Netflix has shown a Shiny Larvesta, so there’s hope Niantic will introduce it through a future event.

Players have a special chance to evolve Larvesta into Volcarona. It takes 400 Larvesta Candy. Don’t miss this opportunity to add Larvesta to your Pokédex.

Adding Larvesta to Your Collection

The arrival of Larvesta adds an exciting challenge for players. It’s a great time to explore, hatch eggs, and expand your collection. Keep an eye out for this intriguing new addition. Remember, catching Larvesta now prepares you for its potential shiny release in the future.

Why Catch Larvesta?

Larvesta isn’t just another Pokémon. Its unique Fire/Bug combo offers interesting strategic options for battles. Plus, the chance to evolve it into the powerful Volcarona makes it even more appealing. Make sure to participate in the An Instinctive Hero event and seize the chance to catch Larvesta.
