Increased Frequency of Gigantamax Coalossal, Lapras, Flapple, and Appletun in Pokémon Sword and Shield

Gigantamax Coalossal, Lapras, Flapple, and Appletun will have increased spawns in Pokémon Sword and Shield

Starting today, trainers in Pokémon Sword and Shield will have a better chance of encountering Gigantamax Coalossal, Lapras, Flapple, and Appletun. The latest event has made these powerful Pokémon more common in Max Raid Battles.

Previously, trainers had a limited opportunity to catch these Gigantamax forms, but now there will be an increased chance of encountering them. This event will run until February 16th, giving players ample time to add these unique Pokémon to their teams.

During Max Raid Battles, players will join forces with up to three other trainers to take on a colossal, Dynamax Pokémon. Gigantamax forms are even more powerful and have unique moves and appearances.

To take part in these Max Raid Battles, trainers need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription and a stable internet connection. By teaming up with other players, trainers will have a higher chance of success in defeating and capturing the Gigantamax Pokémon.

This event is part of a series of events happening in Pokémon Sword and Shield to celebrate the release of the Expansion Pass. The Expansion Pass includes two additional areas to explore with new Pokémon, stories, and adventures.

Trainers who haven’t yet experienced Gigantamax Coalossal, Lapras, Flapple, and Appletun now have a great opportunity to add these impressive Pokémon to their collection. Don’t miss out on this limited-time event to strengthen your team and become an even better Pokémon trainer.
