The final countdown to the worldwide Pokémon Go Tour: Hoenn has arrived. Niantic is throwing a special event to get players excited.
Primal Rumblings Event
From Feb. 22 to 24, players around the globe will see more of the iconic Pokémon from Ruby and Sapphire. This includes the three starters. The spotlight of this event is Rayquaza. It comes back to five-star raids with a new move, Breaking Swipe. Mega Latios and Mega Latias will also show up in Mega Raids.
During this event, players can finish special Primal Rumblings research. They can get cool items and take on a Collection Challenge themed around Gen III. The event aims to prepare players for the Go Tour: Hoenn – Global. This big event happens on Feb. 25 and 26.

Completing the Primal Rumblings Collection Challenge
This challenge is all about catching the three starter Pokémon from the Hoenn region. You also need to evolve them fully. Here’s what to do:
– Catch a Treecko
– Catch a Torchic
– Catch a Mudkip
– Evolve a Grovyle into Sceptile
– Evolve a Combusken into Blaziken
– Evolve a Marshtomp into Swampert
Finish these tasks and you get 10 Ultra Balls and a Rocket Radar as a total reward.
