How to Find and Capture Cutiefly and Ribombee in Pokémon Go

Spring Event Brings New Pokémon

Spring is here, and Pokémon Go just added two new Pokémon: Cutiefly and Ribombee. They join the game during the Spring into Spring event.

The event focuses on bugs, flowers, and bunnies. We will see new Pokémon with cherry blossoms and flower crowns. Players can catch themed Pokémon, including Shinies. For the first time, you can evolve Pokémon with flower crowns.

Catching Cutiefly and Ribombee

Finding Cutiefly in Pokémon Go is easy. You can catch it in the wild, where it appears often during the event. It might still pop up even after the event. Also, Cutiefly can hatch from two-kilometer eggs. With half Egg Hatch Distance during the event, opening eggs becomes easier.

To get Ribombee, simply evolve Cutiefly. The exact Candy amount needed will be known on April 4, when the event starts. It should cost the same as other two-stage evolutions.

No Shinies Yet

Right now, you can’t catch Shinies of Cutiefly and Ribombee in Pokémon Go. Players must wait for a future event or update.
