How to Get Pokemon to Follow You in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Are you excited to have your Pokemon buddies join you on your adventures in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl? With the newly introduced feature, you can bring your favorite Pokemon out of their Poke Balls and have them follow you around! Here’s a simple guide on how to make it happen:
Step 1: Obtain and Equip the Fashion Item
The key to having your Pokemon walk with you is to equip the Fashion Item. In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, this item is known as the Fashion Case. You can acquire it from the Grand Underground’s Secret Base. Once you have the Fashion Case, equip it to get started!
Step 2: Choose a Pokemon to Follow You
From your party, select the Pokemon that you want to follow you. Keep in mind that not all Pokemon can participate in this feature. Make sure the chosen Pokemon is compatible. Only the ones from your party can walk with you.
Step 3: Enable Pokemon Following Feature
Head over to the main menu and select the “Pokeetch” option. Within the Pokeetch, tap on the “Party” tab. Here, you’ll find your active Pokemon with a small graphic of a Pokemon Ball next to their portrait. Tap on this icon to enable the Pokemon following feature.
Step 4: Enjoy Having Your Pokemon By Your Side!
Once you’ve successfully completed the previous steps, you can now explore the Pokemon world with your chosen Pokemon walking beside you. Your companion will follow as you move, bringing an extra touch of charm to your adventures in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl!
