How to Capture Metapod, Aipom, or Lotad in Pokemon GO’s New Pokemon Snap Event

Pokemon GO has announced a new event called Pokemon Snap, where trainers can take pictures of specific Pokemon in the wild. This limited-time event features three Pokemon: Metapod, Aipom, and Lotad. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to capture these Pokemon in your snapshots.

1. Find Pokemon Snap Event Spawns

During the Pokemon Snap event, the three featured Pokemon will spawn more frequently in the wild. Keep an eye out for Metapod, Aipom, and Lotad on your map. Utilize Incense or Lure Modules to attract more Pokemon to your location.

2. Approach the Pokemon

Once you spot one of the featured Pokemon, get closer to it by tapping on the Pokemon on your map. Remember, the closer you are, the better your snapshot will be.

3. Enter Snapshot Mode

Tap on your trainer’s face icon on the bottom left corner of the screen to access Snapshot Mode. Alternatively, you can also open your camera by tapping on the camera icon beside the Pokemon in front of you.

4. Position and Capture

Use the camera viewfinder to position the Pokemon within the frame. Ensure that the Pokemon is in focus and well-centered for the best snapshot. Tap on the shutter button to capture the image. You can take multiple photos to increase your chances of getting a perfect shot.

5. Review and Save

After capturing the photo, review it by tapping on the photo icon on the bottom right corner. If you’re satisfied with the snapshot, click on the save button to add it to your collection. Remember to share your best shots with friends and fellow trainers.

The Pokemon Snap event in Pokemon GO offers a fun and unique opportunity to capture specific Pokemon in your snapshots. Take advantage of this limited-time event to enhance your Pokemon photography skills and create memorable images.
