Hisuian Growlithe, Qwilfish, and Sneasel Join Pokémon Go’s Hisuian Discoveries

Pokémon GO’s Hisuian Discoveries: Meet the New Pokémon

Pokémon GO is introducing new Pokémon from the Hisui region in its latest update. Niantic, the game’s developer, has revealed three new Pokémon that players can now encounter while exploring the virtual world: Hisuian Growlithe, Qwilfish, and Sneasel.

Hisuian Growlithe

Hisuian Growlithe is a Fire- and Rock-type Pokémon with a unique appearance. It resembles a wolf and has a fiery mane, which helps it blend into the rocky terrains of the Hisui region. Unlike the typical Growlithe found in other regions, Hisuian Growlithe is known for its calm and reserved nature. This Pokémon has the Ability “Calm Eyes,” which prevents it from being affected by intimidation-based moves.

Qwilfish

Qwilfish is a Water- and Poison-type Pokémon that thrives in the sea. It inflates its body with water to intimidate its enemies and can release toxic spikes to defend itself. In Pokémon GO, Qwilfish is known for its powerful movepool, which includes moves like Aqua Tail, Poison Jab, and Sludge Wave. Trainers will need to be cautious when facing this spiky Pokémon, as its deadly spikes can cause trouble in battles.

Sneasel

Sneasel is an Ice- and Dark-type Pokémon that roams the snow-covered Hisui region. With its sharp claws and incredible speed, it is a formidable opponent. Sneasel has the Ability “Inner Focus,” which prevents it from flinching, allowing it to land critical hits on its foes. In Pokémon GO, Sneasel evolves into Weavile when exposed to a Sinnoh Stone. Weavile is a powerful Dark- and Ice-type Pokémon that trainers will want to add to their teams.

These new Pokémon add exciting possibilities to Pokémon GO gameplay, offering trainers the chance to diversify their rosters and strengthen their teams. Keep an eye out for these Hisuian Pokémon and embark on new adventures in the Hisui region today!
