To make Poffins in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you will need to visit the Poffin House located in Hearthome City. Once inside, you will find a Berry Blender, which you can use to create Poffin batter. The Blender will be operated by a fellow character.
To start making Poffins, you should select the berries you wish to use, keeping in mind that different berries contribute to different flavors and characteristics. It’s better to choose berries that your Pokémon like for optimal results. Once you’ve selected the berries, they will be inserted into the Berry Blender, and the blending process will begin.
During the blending process, you will need to blow air into the microphone of your Nintendo Switch or use the Y button to rotate the stirring spoon. You must keep an eye on the blender’s temperature gauge to maintain the ideal temperature throughout.
Once the blending is complete, you will receive Poffin batter based on your performance during the activity. The quality of the Poffin batter determines the level of enhancement it provides to your Pokémon’s Contest Attributes.
After obtaining the Poffin batter, you will move to the next step of baking the Poffins. In the Poffin House, you can find the Poffin Cooking Area where you can bake your Poffins. Again, a fellow character will assist you in this process.
To bake Poffins, you should focus on rotating the control stick in a circular motion as indicated on the screen. Keeping the rhythm and speed consistent will result in well-baked Poffins. It’s important to note that each Pokémon has its own preferred speed and rhythm, so pay attention to their reactions.
The Poffins’ size and color will vary depending on your performance during the baking process. The final Poffin will also have different effects on your Pokémon’s Contest Attributes based on its characteristics.
To feed your Pokémon with Poffins, simply go to the Pokémon Contest Hall and click on “Check Poffin.” From there, select the Pokémon you wish to feed and choose the Poffin you want to give them. Your Pokémon will eagerly eat the Poffin, and their Contest Attributes will receive an immediate boost.
