Galarian Slowpoke, Galarian Slowbro, and Mega Slowbro make their way to Pokémon Go in “A Very Slow Discovery” event
Trainers, get ready for some slow and steady action as Galarian Slowpoke, Galarian Slowbro, and Mega Slowbro make their debut in Pokémon Go! Niantic has announced “A Very Slow Discovery” event, where you can encounter and catch these unique Pokémon.
The event will take place on June 8th, 2021, at 10 am to June 13th, 2021, at 8 pm local time. During this time, Galarian Slowpoke will start spawning in the wild, so keep an eye out for its appearance. You might even get lucky and encounter a Shiny Galarian Slowpoke!
But that’s not all—Galarian Slowbro will be making its Pokémon Go debut during this event as well. You can evolve your Galarian Slowpoke into Galarian Slowbro by using 50 Galarian Slowpoke Candy.
If you’re a fan of Mega Evolution, you’re in for a treat. Mega Slowbro will be available to battle in Mega Raids. Don’t forget to team up with your friends and take on this powerful Pokémon for a chance to catch it. You can also use Mega Slowbro in Trainer Battles to give you that extra edge.
During the event, you can complete Timed Research and Field Research tasks to earn exciting rewards. Some of the rewards include encounters with Slowpoke, Galarian Slowpoke, Galarian Slowbro, and Mega Slowbro. Additionally, you may receive special items like Slowpoke-themed stickers or a Galarian Slowpoke Cap.
For those who have a Pokémon Go Tour: Kanto ticket, completing the “A Very Slow Discovery” event will unlock a Timed Research line that rewards you with 10 Rare Candy.
