Players Unlock First Bonus Week During Pokémon GO Fest 2021
Trainers around the world embraced the challenge during Pokémon GO Fest 2021 and successfully unlocked the first Ultra Unlock bonus week. The event, held from July 17-18, saw trainers participating in various activities and contributing to a cumulative goal.
During the first day, trainers came together to complete a total of 16 global challenges. These challenges were then followed by the GO Fest Global Challenge Arena, where trainers competed against each other in five different skill-based challenges.
Additionally, players could complete exclusive Timed Research tasks during the event. By advancing through these tasks, trainers had the opportunity to encounter rare and powerful Pokémon.
As trainers collectively achieved the required milestones, they unlocked the first Ultra Unlock bonus week. This bonus week, known as Ultra Unlock Week 1: Time, is set to begin on July 23 at 10 a.m. local time and will run until August 3 at 8 p.m. local time.
During the Time-themed bonus week, trainers can expect to encounter Pokémon from various eras. Specific Pokémon such as Dialga, Palkia, Cranidos, Shieldon, and more will be appearing more frequently in raids, research tasks, and in the wild.
In addition to the increase in certain Pokémon spawns, trainers can look forward to facing challenges related to time. These challenges can be completed to earn various rewards, including encounters with Pokémon like Temporal Pokémon and Temporal Palkia.
With the successful completion of the first bonus week, trainers have already set their sights on unlocking the subsequent Ultra Unlock weeks. The excitement for what’s to come is palpable within the Pokémon GO community.
