Everything You Need to Know About the Pokémon Go Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl Celebration Event
Pokémon Go enthusiasts have something to celebrate as Niantic recently announced an upcoming event called the Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl Celebration. This event is in honor of the release of the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl games for Nintendo Switch.
During this celebration event, players will have the opportunity to encounter various Pokémon from the Sinnoh region, the setting of the Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl games. This will give trainers a chance to catch Pokémon they may have missed previously or add more powerful variations of existing Pokémon to their collection.
Throughout the event, trainers will have increased chances of encountering Pokémon like Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, and more. Additionally, players will have the opportunity to hatch certain Sinnoh Pokémon from 5 km Eggs, including Combee, Buizel, and Cranidos.
In addition to increased Pokémon spawns, trainers will also have access to event-exclusive Field Research tasks. These tasks will offer rewards such as Stardust, encounters with Pokémon like Bidoof, and Sinnoh Stone, a valuable item used for evolving certain Pokémon.
To make the event even more exciting, Niantic is introducing exclusive Raid Battles featuring powerful Pokémon from the Sinnoh region. Trainers will have the chance to challenge and catch Pokémon like Cranidos, Shieldon, and more. It’s a great opportunity for players to add rare and formidable Pokémon to their team.
The Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl Celebration event will begin on November 16, 2021, at 10 am local time and will last until November 21, 2021, at 8 pm local time. Players worldwide will be able to participate in this event and take advantage of the increased Pokémon spawns, exclusive Field Research tasks, and special Raid Battles.
