Complete Guide to Pokémon Go Fest 2023: London and Osaka – Habitat Rotation, Collection Challenges, Schedules, and Encounters

Pokémon Go Fest 2023 Kicks Off

Pokémon Go Fest 2023 is happening now! Niantic has rolled out new Habitat Rotations, featuring new Pokémon encounters. They’ve also added Collection Challenges based on these habitats.

What’s New This Year

This year, Go Fest starts with events in London and Osaka. They bring four new habitats that change every hour. These changes are only available from August 4 to 6 while the events are live. Later Go Fest events this month will have different habitats and special content.

Each habitat includes 11 unique Pokémon that appear in the wild for one hour. You’ll see other Pokémon during the event, not tied to any habitat.

Collection Challenges and Rewards

Keep an eye on the Pokémon needed for the Go Fest 2023 Collection Challenges. Each habitat has its challenge. It might be a good idea to start with the event’s Special Research. The rewards are great, including an encounter with Diancie. You can tackle the Collection Challenges later or do them at the same time.

Here are the details you need to know:

Full Schedule and How to Tackle It

The four habitats start rotating when the event begins, changing every hour. This gives you lots of chances to catch every Pokémon and finish Collection Challenges. Some Field Research tasks are unique to each habitat.

For Go Fest 2023 in London and Osaka, here’s what you can expect:

– Dark Jungle will have Pokémon like Zubat and Tangela.
– Fairy Garden features Bulbasaur and Jigglypuff.
– In Hypnotic Glacier, look for Seel and Shellder.
– Volcanic Island hosts Charmander and Squirtle among others.

Reward for completing these challenges include Stardust, special Pokémon encounters, and Incense.

After finishing the Collection Challenges, why not try Mega Rayquaza in Mega Raids?
