Can Sandile, Krokorok, and Krookodile Appear as Shiny Variants in Pokémon Go?

Sandile, Krokorok, and Krookodile joined the Pokémon Go game in October 2020, with the event “The Seasons Change: Part Two”. These Ground and Dark-type Pokémon come with a unique look that many gamers, including myself, find quite cool. Sandile and Krokorok sport light-brown skins with dark stripes and pink bellies, while Krookodile shows off a maroon body, a black back, and a white stomach.

I’ve caught sight of their Shiny versions in Pokémon Black and White, and they’re even more stunning. The Shiny form of Sandile boasts a turquoise belly, green skin, and black stripes. Shiny Krokorok has a touch of greyish-blue on the belly, with brown skin and yellow stripes. Shiny Krookodile follows this pattern but swaps in a white belly for a final flash of style.

But, is it possible to catch these cool Shiny forms in Pokémon Go?

Looking for Shiny Sandile in Pokémon Go

Yes, catching a Shiny Sandile in Pokémon Go is possible. If you’re lucky, you can evolve it into Shiny Krokorok and then Shiny Krookodile. However, finding one requires a whole lot of luck. You can find Sandile in 12km Eggs, but it’s super rare. Catching a Shiny version is an even bigger challenge.

If luck is on your side as it was for me, you can keep the Shiny form through its evolution. Just feed Sandile 25 Candies and Krokorok 100 Candies to evolve them. It’s a bit of work, but totally worth it! The Shiny versions look fantastic.

Shiny Krookodile: A Mighty Ally

My Shiny Krookodile has turned into a strong partner, winning many battles for me. I suggest using moves like Snarl and Earthquake for the best damage output.

Takeaway

In conclusion, while it’s tough to find Shiny versions of Sandile, Krokorok, and Krookodile in Pokémon Go, it’s not impossible. With enough patience and luck, you could add these awesome-looking Pokémon to your collection. They not only add to your game’s aesthetics but also provide a robust option for battles. Good luck hunting those Shinies!
