Can Gimmighoul and Gholdengo Appear as Shiny Variants in Pokémon Go?

Shiny Hunters, Listen Up!

Everyone wonders if polishing coins will make them gleam in the sunlight. Similarly, in Pokémon Go, players are buzzing about the possibility of catching a Shiny Gimmighoul or its evolved form, Gholdengo. These unique Pokémon have just hit the game, thanks to a cool new update.

In Pokémon Go, you can now catch Gimmighoul in its Roaming Form. This special version is only in the mobile game and links up with the new Scarlet and Violet games.

To meet Gimmighoul in Pokémon Go, you need to connect the game to either Scarlet or Violet. By doing so, you can send Postcards to your Nintendo Switch. This unlocks a Coin Bag and the chance to find Gimmighoul (Roaming Form) in Pokémon Go.

But, the big question remains: Can we find Gimmighoul or Gholdengo in their shiny versions?

Shiny Gimmighoul and Gholdengo: Yes or No?

Although you can find Shiny Gimmighoul in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, its Roaming Form and Gholdengo are not shiny in Pokémon Go right now.

This means, as of their release in the mobile game, you can’t catch Shiny Gimmighoul or Shiny Gholdengo. But, there’s still hope for the future.

Hope On the Horizon

As of now, neither Pokémon shows up shiny. But, this is likely to change. Niantic often focuses on Pokémon like Gimmighoul, which have unique ways to find them, for big events later. So, all you need to do is keep an eye out for future updates.

What to Do in the Meantime

Even though Shiny Gimmighoul and Gholdengo aren’t in Pokémon Go yet, stay tuned. Niantic loves to surprise us with new updates and events. Catching these shiny versions might just be a matter of time. Keep playing, and be ready when they finally arrive!
