Are Cutiefly and Ribombee Available as Shiny in Pokémon Go?

Cutiefly and Ribombee just arrived in Pokémon Go! Players are busy hunting these adorable bee Pokémon during the Spring into Spring event. They’ll pop up in the wild and inside eggs. The event runs from April 4 to 10. Fans can catch the basic form in nature. They can then evolve it into Ribombee with some Cutiefly Candy. There’s also a special deal right now. Eggs only need half the usual distance to hatch, but only for those that are two kilometers.

For Shiny hunters, the big question is, can they find Cutiefly and Ribombee in Shiny form? Right now, the answer is no. Shiny versions of these Bug-type Pokémon aren’t in the game yet. Players will have to wait until they get a special event spotlight.

Shiny Hopes

Many Pokémon eventually get Shiny forms. But, no word yet on when these two will join the Shiny club.

Shiny Looks

It’s a bummer, especially since Cutiefly’s Shiny form is super cute. Its usual yellow and white colors change to pale pink and white. So, it’ll be easy to spot when it finally shows up. As for Ribombee, it undergoes a similar change. Its body and the little scarf it wears shift to a bright shade of pink and red. This makes both Pokémon’s Shiny versions something players are eager to catch.

Since these Pokémon are new to Pokémon Go, fans may have to wait a bit for their Shiny forms. But everyone’s hoping that wait won’t be long. People can’t wait to collect these little pink bugs in the game.
