Exciting Pokemon Go Events Announced for June
The Pokemon Company has plenty in store for Pokemon Go fans this June with a range of exciting events scheduled. With the Season of GO starting on June 1, trainers can look forward to a variety of Pokemon encounters, bonuses, and the return of some popular features.
Ace Spec Research Tasks for Alolan Raichu and Petilil
To kick off the Season of GO, trainers will have the opportunity to complete new Ace Spec Research tasks. By completing these tasks, trainers will encounter Alolan Raichu, the Electric/Psychic-type Pokemon originally from the Alola region. Additionally, trainers will have the chance to encounter Petilil, the cute Grass-type Pokemon from the Unova region.
Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG) Event
Pokemon Go trainers who enjoy trading and collecting Pokemon cards are in for a treat. From June 8 to June 15, they can participate in a special TCG event. During this time, trainers will be able to unlock rewards in Pokemon Go by using TCG codes found in select Pokemon TCG products. This event offers a great opportunity for fans to connect their love for both Pokemon Go and the Pokemon TCG.
Pokemon Spotlight Hours
Throughout the month, trainers can also participate in Pokemon Spotlight Hours. Every Tuesday in June, a different Pokemon will take the spotlight for an hour starting at 6 p.m. local time. During this period, trainers can expect an increased spawn rate of the featured Pokemon in the wild. It’s a perfect chance to catch rare Pokemon and boost your collection.
Community Day Featuring Gible
The highly anticipated Community Day event in June will focus on the Dragon/Ground-type Pokemon, Gible. On June 6, trainers will have the chance to encounter this cute yet powerful Pokemon in the wild. Additionally, players who evolve Gabite into Garchomp during the event or up to two hours afterward will obtain an exclusive move.
