Exciting news, Pokémon Go fans! A recent dig into the game’s code has revealed something big. We’re getting loads of new Pokémon soon!

A datamine, shared by PokeMiners on May 16, discovered many Pokémon from Scarlet and Violet are joining the game. Names like Sprigatito and Miraidon are on the list. This means almost every Gen IX Pokémon will soon be in Pokémon Go, alongside Gimmighoul and Gholdengo.

However, a few Pokémon are missing this time. Walking Wake and Iron Leaves, announced after the games’ release, aren’t listed. The upcoming DLC’s five new Pokémon are also not included.

Lots More Pokémon Coming

But, that’s still about 100 new Pokémon coming to Pokémon Go! They won’t all arrive at once, but let’s hope we don’t have to wait too long. Plus, with the new Master Ball announced, catching these newcomers might be easier.

The datamine didn’t just stop at new Pokémon. It also found new moves like Liquidation and Leafage. Plus, different forms for Pokémon such as Zygarde, Palafin, Maushold, and Paldean Tauros were mentioned.

What Could This Mean for Pokémon Home?

Nothing is official yet, but this big addition could mean more for another app, Pokémon Home. It acts as a bridge for transferring Pokémon between different games. With Gen IX Pokémon added to Pokémon Go, we might be closer to Pokémon Home supporting Scarlet and Violet.

Until that big update happens, players are finding their own ways to have fun.
