All Water Festival: Beach Week Research Tasks and Rewards in Pokémon Go

The exciting Hidden Gems season in Pokémon Go kicks off with its first big event. The Water Festival: Beach Week is here, giving players the chance to catch Water-type and beach-themed Pokémon. This event comes with new encounters and interesting research tasks.

Get Ready for Beach Week

Beach Week is happening from June 6 to 12. It marks the first appearance of Sandygast and Palossand in the game. Plus, players can catch Shiny variants of Clauncher and Clawitzer for the first time.

The event aims to get players to catch more Pokémon. Look out for Mantine, Finneon, Dwebble, Frillish, and Popplio. You’ll also find rare Pokémon like Hisuian Qwilfish, Feebas, Blastoise, and Lapras in raids. Depending on where you are, Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie will appear in five-star raids.

Event Research Details

One downside is the Water Festival: Beach Week Timed Research costs $4.99 and is only two pages long. The rewards might not seem big, but there’s also a Global Challenge to enjoy.

If you’re diving into the event, here’s what you can expect from the research tasks and rewards.

Despite some complaints about the event’s paid ticket, the outcry is not as big as past issues. For instance, when The Pokémon Company banned players from a contest for protesting format changes.
