Time-Specific and Field Research Tasks and Rewards
Let’s dive into what you’ll be doing and winning. First, everyone starts on page one of the Timed Research. You’ll need to:
– Complete a Field Research task for encounters with Nosepass, Barboach, Sableye, Caterpie, and Magikarp. Complete all five and you’ll snag 1,000 Stardust and 2,500 XP.
Moving on to page two, you can choose a Pokémon. You’ll focus on encountering this chosen Pokémon through more tasks. No extra rewards, just loads of encounters with your chosen one.
The Hunt Continues with Field Research
Field Research tasks bring even more encounters. Tasks like catching five Pokémon, using berries to help catch Pokémon, battling in Gyms, and making great throws, all offer encounters with Caterpie, Magikarp, Nosepass, Sableye, and Barboach.
Expect tasks that involve using Pinap Berries, earning candies with your Buddy, sending gifts with stickers, and more. Each task lets you meet one of our featured Pokémon.
