All Pokémon Go Battle Day: Clay Timed Research Tasks, Rewards, and Event Bonuses Overview

Get ready for the next big thing in Pokémon Go—Battle Day: Clay is here! This special event brings fresh changes to the PvP mode this July. If you join in, you can enjoy free and paid Timed Research. These are all about battling to honor Driftveil City Gym Leader, Clay.

New Changes for Grinders

Starting July 1, the game spices up the GBL (Go Battle League) for players who love to climb the ranks. How? By upping Stardust rewards on the basic track. Also, after your second win in a set, you get Rare Candy or Rare Candy XL. Cool, right? But, these perks mainly attract those who spend lots of time in Pokémon Go’s PvP battles.

Timed Research and Bonuses

Niantic wants everyone to try the GBL format. So, they’re offering special Timed Research and bonuses for this event. Even if you play just a few GBL matches, you can get awesome rewards. Ready to sport a Clay-style cowboy hat? Keep reading.

Exclusive Rewards Await

This event packs Timed Research tasks with nice rewards. Here’s a quick look:

– Battle in the Go Battle League five times for 7,500 XP.
– Ten battles? That’s another 7,500 XP.
– Use 10 super effective Charged Attacks for, you guessed it, 7,500 XP.
– Power up Pokémon 10 times? Yep, 7,500 XP.

Finish these and bag three Rare Candies, an Elite Charged TM, and a cool Clay-style Hat avatar item.

Stardust Galore for Ticket Holders

There’s a special, paid Timed Research happening on July 1, during Go Battle Day: Clay. It costs $1. Here’s what battling more gets you:

– 10 battles fetch 6,000 Stardust.
– 25 battles? Another 6,000 Stardust.
– 50 battles, and guess what? Yep, 6,000 Stardust again.
– 15 super effective Charged Attacks and 10 Pokémon power-ups also give 6,000 Stardust each.

Finish all these to earn three Rare Candy XL, three Rare Candies, and a Star Piece. Players above Trainer Level 31 snag the Rare Candy XL.

Even More Bonuses

But wait, there’s more. Enjoy 4× Stardust from win rewards (excluding end-of-set rewards). Plus, you can battle in up to 20 sets per day. That’s 100 battles in total!

And don’t miss the Dark Flames event running at the same time. It has its own research and a Collection Challenge.
