All Pokémon Go Adventure Week 2023 Adventures Near and Far Timed Research Tasks and Rewards

Adventure Week in Pokémon Go is back! This exciting event focuses on exploring and researching. Get ready to catch Rock-type and Fossil Pokémon from July 27 to Aug. 2. This is your last chance to enjoy a stand-alone event before Go Fest 2023 kicks off. Plus, Mega Tyranitar makes its first appearance!

Get Ready for Mega Tyranitar

To train your Mega Tyranitar, you’ll need to beat Mega Raids. Doing so gets you Mega Tyranitar Energy. Use this to make your Tyranitar evolve into its Mega form. Remember, Mega Tyranitar will only be in Mega Raids until Aug. 4. Don’t miss out on Regidrago in five-star raids either!

Fossil Pokémon and More

During Adventure Week, you can find all Fossil Pokémon in the game. Complete four different Collection Challenges to find shiny versions of Amaura and Tyrunt for the first time.

There’s also new timed research called “Adventures Near and Far” with two paths. There are different tasks depending on the path you choose. You can buy a ticket for $2, giving you more chances to encounter Amaura and Tyrunt.

Exciting Research Tasks

Adventure Week is packed with activities. Besides the Mega Tyranitar and Fossil Pokémon, there’s a lot to do. Enjoy the “Adventures Near and Far” research. It’s free for everyone, and finishing tasks is easy. Once you’re done with the initial tasks, choose between a Sightseeing Adventure or a Studious Adventure. Your choice doesn’t change the rewards but changes the tasks you need to do. I’m going for the Sightseeing Adventure because it’s easier and has fewer RNG tasks.

Timed Research and Rewards

You can buy the Adventure Week 2023 Timed Research until Aug. 1. It’s best to buy it early, so you have the weekend to play. The research includes walking to encounter Tyrunt and Amaura. There are also exclusive Field Research tasks with rewards like encounters with Tyrunt, Amaura, and other Rock-type Pokémon.

Don’t forget, Adventure Week is a great time to prep for Pokémon Go Fest. The physical events start on Aug. 4, leading up to the global event on Aug. 26 and 27. There’s a lot to look forward to, so get ready to explore and catch them all during Adventure Week!
