All New Paradox Pokémon in the Scarlet and Violet Expansion

The Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, brings new excitement to the Paldea region. It adds new characters and Pokémon, some of which we know, and some are brand new.

On Aug. 8, a Pokémon Presents event unveiled a thrilling teaser for the DLC. We saw new evolutions like Dipplin, a third option for Applin, and Archaludon, the next stage for Duraludon. But the real buzz was about the new Paradox Pokémon joining the team.

Meet the New Paradox Pokémon

One Paradox Pokémon, Raging Bolt, is making waves. It looks a lot like the Legendary Raikou. Raging Bolt, a yellow creature with a long neck and bold patterns, is from the past. Fans think it will only appear in Scarlet.

Raging Bolt sure looks a lot like Raikou.

Given its look and name, Raging Bolt might be an Electric type. Walking Wake, Suicine’s counterpart, is part Dragon type. So, Raging Bolt could also be part Dragon, like Miraidon from Gen IX.

With Raging Bolt and Walking Wake confirmed, fans speculate that Paradox Entei will soon join them. This would complete the iconic Gen II Legendary trio.

Iron Crown Enters the Scene

That is just a Cobalion that had too many Irons.

Iron Crown, unlike Raging Bolt, resembles its relative, Cobalion. It’s like a robot Cobalion, similar to other future Paradox Pokémon in Violet.

What’s Next?

Iron Crown’s type remains a mystery. It might keep Cobalion’s Steel type and add Psychic, like Iron Leaves, Virizion’s counterpart. Since two Swords of Justice have Paradox forms, Terrakion and Keldeo might get theirs too.

The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC packs a lot of surprises. With new and old Pokémon joining the adventure, it’s a thrilling time for fans. Stay tuned for more updates on these electrifying additions to the Pokémon world!
