A special Valentine’s Day event and a challenging 7-star Tera Raid are arriving in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

New Events Hit Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet fans, get ready! A third month of Tera Raid action is coming your way. The Pokémon Company just shared news about a Valentine’s Day special and hinted at a new, tough challenge in the game’s hardest raids.

New Challenger After Mighty Cinderace

As soon as Mighty Cinderace leaves the Tera Raid events, a new Pokémon will jump in. This change kicks off at the end of January. Who it will be is still a mystery. Yet, we know it’s a Seven-Star raid with a Poison Tera Type. It’ll show up from Jan. 27 to 30 and again from Feb. 10 to 13.

Potential Poison Starter Pokémon

From what we’ve seen with Dragon-type Charizard and Fighting-type Cinderace, we might get a Poison-type Starter next. But, Poison doesn’t really fit Inteleon or Rillaboom like before. So, it could be a surprise, maybe even Greninja making an appearance.

Valentine’s Day and Future Events

The first-ever holiday event for Scarlet and Violet is set for Valentine’s Day. Tandemaus, known as the Couple Pokémon, with a Fairy Tera Type, will show up more from Feb. 13 to 15. Expect more Tera Raid events like this throughout the year, adding fun alongside the normal and seven-star raids.
