3 Mythical Pokémon Available in New European Sword and Shield Event
Three mythical Pokémon are up for grabs in a new distribution event for European players of Pokémon Sword and Shield. The event, which runs from February 27 to March 26, allows trainers to obtain Zarude, Celebi, and Koko via different methods.
How to Get Zarude
To add the Dark/Grass-type Pokémon Zarude to your team, you can either be a member of the Pokémon Trainer Club newsletter or receive a special code through participating retailers. Once you receive the code, follow these steps to claim your Zarude:
1. Launch your Pokémon Sword or Shield game.
2. Select Mystery Gift from the main menu.
3. Choose Gift with Code/Password and input your unique code.
4. Watch as Zarude arrives in your game.
5. Speak with the delivery person inside any Pokémon Center to add Zarude to your party.
How to Get Celebi
For those interested in obtaining the Psychic/Grass-type Pokémon Celebi, there are two options available during the event:
1. If you have a Pokémon Bank account and have accessed it between September 30, 2020, and October 1, 2021, you will receive a special code via email to obtain Celebi.
2. If you don’t have a Pokémon Bank account, you can participate in a special Max Raid Battle that features Celebi. Once you successfully defeat it, you will have the chance to capture Celebi.
How to Get Koko
The Fairy/Electric-type Pokémon Koko can be obtained through Pokémon Home. Simply open the app and check your Mystery Gift box to claim it.
