PGL's Copenhagen Major Sets CS2 Viewership Records During Qualifiers

The anticipation for Counter-Strike’s first Major tournament is reaching a fever pitch, with a record-breaking number of viewers tuning in for the PGL Copenhagen Major RMR qualifiers. This surge in viewership is a strong indication that the Danish Major will set new records when it takes place in mid-March.

According to a report from Esports Charts, the RMR closed qualifiers attracted an impressive 245,617 concurrent viewers. Notably, these numbers were achieved even before the start of the main RMR tournament. Spanish caster Ibai Llanos, whose CS2 team Movistar KOI qualified for the European RMR, stood out with 62,176 viewers during the European closed qualifier two weeks ago.
