Riot Games Releases Official Trailer for New VALORANT Map Pearl
Riot Games has unveiled the official trailer for its latest VALORANT map, Pearl, after leaked gameplay footage emerged on Facebook.
Just an hour before the official trailer was released, gameplay footage of VALORANT’s Pearl map was leaked on Facebook by an account called Gaming Leaks & News. The leaked video, which lasted over eight minutes, showcased different areas of the new map, including a close-quarters staircase and several battle pass weapon skins.
According to the trailer, Pearl is a city completely encased in Radianite-infused polycarbonate, created by Kingdom Industries. Unlike VALORANT’s Haven map, Pearl only features two bombsites. It is characterized by long corridors, alleyways, and scattered buildings, such as the Multiverse Museum. Moreover, Pearl offers multiple corners and hiding spots for enemies.
The leaked footage also showcased various battle pass weapon skins, including a Bulldog skin with different blue tones that match the underwater theme. There was also a gold-covered Judge, which seems to be a variant of the blue Bulldog skin. Towards the end of the trailer, the player is seen holding a similarly patterned red skin. Additionally, fire-inspired Guardian and Operator skins were displayed, as well as industrial weapon skins that are likely part of the main battle pass line. The trailer showcased these industrial skins on the Frenzy, Marshall, Phantom, and a knife melee.
Aside from battle pass skins, the leaked footage also revealed a new weapon skin bundle that will be available in the next act. These skins feature a power core similar to the Ion weapon skins and have a futuristic yet industrial aesthetic, with vibrant neon colors.
