Yuumi Dominates LCS with Overwhelming Power
Yuumi, the new champion in League of Legends, has quickly risen to dominance in high-level play. She was initially considered weak, but after receiving buffs, she has become incredibly powerful.
In the Summer Split, FunPlus Phoenix and CLG showcased Yuumi’s strength with victories. In fact, Yuumi played a significant role in CLG’s win against 100 Thieves, as support player Vincent “Biofrost” Wang utilized her early game power to secure the victory.
In an interview after the match, Biofrost praised Yuumi’s immense strength. He commented, “I think Yuumi is really, really broken. If she gets ahead, she pretty much just destroys every lane. But she does struggle when behind.” Biofrost and his teammate were able to get ahead in the laning phase, thanks to Yuumi’s abilities, and their advantage carried them to victory.
Yuumi’s power is starting to be recognized by LCS teams. Clutch Gaming even banned her in a subsequent game. It’s likely that more teams will follow suit and ban Yuumi in the upcoming weeks.
