Introducing Yuumi, League of Legends’ Newest Champion
League of Legends fans can finally rejoice as Yuumi, the Magical Cat, makes her grand entrance into the game with the release of Patch 9.10. After weeks of anticipation, players will now be able to experience the unique abilities of this new support mage.
Yuumi’s kit centers around her ability to attach to allies using her W, You and Me!. This grants her the power to dash a short distance and become untargetable by enemy attacks, excluding tower damage. While attached to a teammate, Yuumi provides a shield through her passive ability and shares a portion of damage between the two. Although Yuumi is unable to auto attack while attached, she can still utilize her abilities.
One of Yuumi’s abilities, Prowling Projectile, enables her to launch a missile that she can control while attached to an ally. The longer the missile is in flight, the more damage it inflicts upon collision with an enemy. Additionally, Zoomies, her healing ability, grants Yuumi a burst of movement speed and heals herself or her attached ally if she is connected to a teammate.
Yuumi’s ultimate ability, Final Chapter, involves her sending out waves of magic damage that root enemies after multiple waves land. The unique aspect of this ability is that Yuumi can continue to move, attach to allies, and heal while casting it.
With Patch 9.10, League of Legends players can now explore the exciting gameplay possibilities that Yuumi brings to the table. Whether she’s dashing across the battlefield or providing crucial support to her teammates, Yuumi is sure to make a lasting impact on the game.
