YouTube Gaming teams up with Riot for enhanced fan experience during LoL Worlds 2023 finals

Riot Games Teams Up with YouTube Gaming for a Global Audience at the 2023 League of Legends World Championship

Riot Games has partnered with YouTube Gaming to bring the excitement of the 2023 League of Legends World Championship to a wider global audience. They have announced new watch parties and official co-streams just days before the event’s finals between T1 and Weibo Gaming.

Expanded Lineup of Co-Streamers

The partnership adds new co-streamers to the already vibrant lineup of over 50 streamers from nearly 20 countries. Fans will recognize popular names like Sykkuno for a new North American co-stream, Flow Games for Brazil, Kerios and special-guest Holdem Hammers for Spain, and TesterHoon and friends for Korea, including pro player Bang.

Dynamic Global Viewing Parties

But the collaboration between YouTube Gaming and Riot goes beyond digital enhancements. The official partnership for Worlds 2023 will include dynamic global viewing parties, two of which will take place in Vietnam. This will give fans who are unable to attend the finals in Seoul the opportunity to celebrate the final moments of the competition together.

Widening the Reach of Worlds

This partnership demonstrates Riot’s commitment to expanding the Worlds experience for fans and attracting a larger audience. During this year’s MSI, there were fewer than 40 co-streams. However, for Worlds, Riot expanded the program, resulting in an increase in viewership and ensuring an exciting conclusion to the year.

For now, everyone is awaiting the outcome. Fans are eager to find out who will emerge as the champions of the 2023 World Championship, while Riot and its partners are anticipating the number of viewers who will tune in to watch T1 battle against Weibo Gaming on November 19 at 2am CT.
