Yasuo, Yone, and Senna Receive Buffs in the Upcoming League of Legends Patch 12.2

Yasuo and Yone Getting Changes in Upcoming Patch to Boost Win Rates

Riot Games designer Phlox has revealed some upcoming changes for the champions Yasuo and Yone in a quick patch preview. The changes aim to improve their win rates, which have dropped due to previous adjustments to the Shieldbow item.

According to a tweet by Phlox, both Yasuo and Yone suffered from the Shieldbow changes and saw their win rates fall to around 47.5%. This is lower than intended and lower than other champions affected by the Shieldbow adjustments. To address this, Riot Games will be buffing the wind brothers in the upcoming patch.

The recent changes to Immortal Shieldbow have significantly impacted Yasuo and Yone’s survivability in teamfights during the later stages of the game. The item’s attack damage has been reduced by five, and its lifeline shield has been dropped by 150 at max level. As a result, Yasuo and Yone have become more vulnerable to burst damage.

In addition to Yasuo and Yone, several other champions including Nocturne, Volibear, Veigar, Tristana, and Senna will also receive buffs in the next patch. Riot’s principal character designer, August Browning, shared details about Redeemer’s changes on Twitter, stating that she will receive a significant slow to her kit.

AP champion enthusiasts will be pleased to know that both Lich Bane and Rylai’s Crystal Scepter are also receiving buffs in the upcoming patch. These items have relatively low popularity rates, so the buffs aim to make them more viable choices.

Patch 12.2 is set to release on Thursday, Jan. 20, bringing these changes and more to the Summoner’s Rift.
