Yassuo reveals his inner Faker prowess in Twitch Rivals competition

Twitch Rivals League of Legends Streamer Showdown Day 1 Recap: Yassuo Channels His Inner Faker

During the first day of the highly anticipated Twitch Rivals League of Legends Streamer Showdown, popular mid laner Moe “Yassuo” Abdalrhman showcased his incredible skills, leaving his teammates in awe.

In game four of the group stage, Yassuo’s team, IWILLSIMP, faced off against the undefeated Sneaky Dogs, led by Zachary “Sneaky” Scuderi, in a battle for the top spot. However, it was Yassuo’s play early on that set the tone for the match and propelled his team to victory.

Playing as his signature champion, Yassuo squared off against frostprime’s Zilean. Just over three minutes into the game, Yassuo evaded a potential gank by using his E, Sweeping Blade, to jump through the jungle wall into the raptor camp. With his inner Faker awakened, Yassuo seized the opportunity as frostprime moved towards the bottom side of the lane, unknowingly setting up the perfect play for Yassuo.

In a split second, Yassuo utilized Sweeping Blade to dash through the jungle camp, followed by a flash, Q (Steel Tempest), ignite, auto attack, and another Sweeping Blade. As Yassuo walked away, the ignite ticked away at frostprime’s health off-screen, earning Yassuo first blood.

Yassuo’s teammates couldn’t contain their excitement over the incredible outplay. One of them exclaimed, “You are actually Faker.” Yassuo, true to his charismatic nature, responded with a humble-brag, saying, “I just shit on him.”

But that wasn’t the end of Yassuo’s dominance. He finished the game with an impressive score of 10/0/4, leading his team to victory in under 26 minutes and securing their position at the top of Group A.
