xPePii in talks with multiple LCS teams as he considers leaving Giants Gaming

Giants Gaming Unveils New Roster for 2016 Summer Split

Giants Gaming has revealed its new lineup for the upcoming 2016 Summer Split, but it doesn’t include star player Isaac “xPePii” Flores. xPePii, who played a crucial role for the team during the 2015 season, will no longer be starting for Giants. According to the team’s press release, xPePii is currently in talks with other LCS teams and considering his options for the future. If he doesn’t find a project that motivates him enough, he will stay with the team’s second unit.

NighT and Maxlore Join Giants Gaming

Replacing xPePii in the mid lane is Korean import Gun-Woo “NighT” Na, who previously played for Ever8 Winners and helped them secure a third-place finish in the 2016 Challenger Korea Spring split. NighT had impressive stats, including the highest KDA, CSPM, and GPM among all mid lane players in the playoffs. Giants believes he is a top-tier player.

Additionally, Giants will be replacing jungler Tae-Wan “Wisdom” Kim with British player Nubar “Maxlore” Sarafian. Maxlore is well-known in the European League community, having played for teams such as Games 2, Ex Nihilo, Team Infused, and Inspire Esports. He had an outstanding performance in the 2016 Challenger Series, ranking second in KDA and CSPM among junglers in the split.

Giants Looks to Improve Performance

Giants Gaming hopes that the addition of NighT and Maxlore will help them improve their standings in the summer split. The team finished at the bottom of the table last split and narrowly avoided relegation. Changes were necessary to prevent another relegation scare.
