Martin “Wunder” Hansen re-signs with Splyce
Martin “Wunder” Hansen has officially re-signed with Splyce, confirming that all five members of the organization’s 2016 Summer Split roster will play for the team in 2017.
Team stays together
Despite all five starters and the team’s head coach announcing their free agency just a week and a half ago, the team has ultimately decided to stay together. The last piece of the puzzle was Wunder, as every other member of the squad had already quickly re-signed.
Splyce’s rise in 2016
In 2016, Splyce was the most underrated team of the year. They started the season as a team of rookies, barely avoiding relegation in the Spring Split. However, they came back strong in the Summer Split, finishing in second place and qualifiying for Worlds. Although they didn’t advance past the group stage, their young talent shows promise for future success in the EU LCS.
