Wunder expresses doubt about G2’s LEC roster strength for 2022

Fnatic’s Wunder Shares Strong Opinions About Former Team G2

Fnatic’s new roster for the 2022 LEC season has caused quite a buzz, especially because it includes Wunder, G2’s former top laner. During a recent Q&A stream on Twitch, Wunder didn’t hold back when expressing his thoughts about G2 and his desire to defeat them.

Wunder’s Motivation to Compete Against G2

When asked which team he was most excited to compete against next year, Wunder confidently stated that he wants to “smash” G2. He also revealed that one of the reasons he joined Fnatic was to have a chance to win the LEC title and defeat his former team in the process.

G2’s Weaknesses According to Wunder

Wunder didn’t mince words when it came to assessing G2’s current roster. He believes that G2 isn’t as strong as they used to be, both individually and as a team. He also mentioned that there are areas they need to work on and it would be surprising to see them come out on top in the spring season.

Leaving Friends Behind

Despite leaving behind “very good friends” like Caps and Jankos at G2, Wunder is determined to defeat them on the Rift. Although they still maintain contact and joke about their teams’ results, Wunder’s competitive spirit compels him to give it his all against his former teammates.

The highly anticipated clash between Fnatic and G2 may happen early in the LEC Spring Split, but fans will have to wait for Riot Games to unveil the official schedule on Jan. 14.
