Riot Games Reveals Patch Notes for League of Legends: Wild Rift 1.0a, Nerfs Blitzcrank, Vayne, and Xin Zhao
Riot Games has unveiled the latest update for League of Legends: Wild Rift’s 1.0a patch. The patch includes adjustments to Blitzcrank, Vayne, and Xin Zhao to balance gameplay.
An important change mentioned by Riot is the promise of a more regular schedule for balance patches in the future. While the plan was initially to release a major patch every two weeks, emergency patches will be introduced if necessary to address any overpowered or broken elements in the game.
Blitzcrank
Blitzcrank has undergone several tweaks in the 1.0a patch:
- Health reduced from 690 to 650
- Health Regen per level decreased from 1.07 to 0.81
- Damage of Static Field (Ult) reduced from 250/375/500 to 200/325/450
- Silence duration of Static Field (Ult) reduced from 1 to 0.5 seconds
Vayne
Adjustments have been made to Vayne in order to enhance gameplay balance:
- Movement speed reduced from 330 to 325
- Movement speed bonus of Night Hunter (Passive) adjusted to 15 at level one, 20 at level five, and 30 at level nine
- Damage of Silver Bolts (2) decreased from 50/70/90/110 to 30/50/70/90
Xin Zhao
The following changes have been implemented for Xin Zhao:
- Attack Damage reduced from 70 to 64
- Health per level decreased from 115 to 105
- Armor per level reduced from 4.3 to 3.9
- Magic Resist decreased from 38 to 30
- Cast range of Audacious Charge (3) reduced from 6 to 5.5
- Cooldown of Crescent Guard (Ult) increased from 80/70/60 to 100/85/70 seconds
Major Bugfixes
The latest update also includes bugfixes. Notable among them is:
- Fixed an issue in Practice Mode where bots were significantly overperforming.
Oct. 25 Hotfix
In a hotfix update on October 25, a 60 frames-per-second mode was introduced for certain devices. Riot Games is monitoring the impact on game crashes as some devices may not support higher graphic tiers.
