Why Hashinshin is Upset About Aatrox’s Upcoming Rework: Appreciating His Unique and Amazing Playstyle

League of Legends Streamer Hashinshin Defies Popular Opinion on Aatrox

It’s no secret that Aatrox is universally disliked, except for one League of Legends streamer—Hashinshin. In a recent Reddit post, he expressed his love for the champion and disagreed with Riot’s decision to rework him.

Despite Riot’s intentions, Hashinshin believes that Aatrox’s current kit and playstyle are “unique and amazing.” He even asked the question, “Am I the only one who actually enjoys playing Aatrox?” and it turns out, he might be.

Aatrox’s Disappointing Past

Aatrox has always been a disappointment for League players. When he was released in 2013, Riot promised an exciting and powerful champion, but what players got was a generic bundle of abilities that felt similar to Tryndamere. As one comment on Hashinshin’s post accurately described, Aatrox was “almost literally Tryndamere with some more modern visuals.”

However, despite the general consensus, Hashinshin finds Aatrox extremely fun. In fact, he plans to play Aatrox on all his streams until the champion’s rework is live.

Hashinshin’s Controversial Reputation

It’s worth noting that Hashinshin has a controversial reputation within the community. He’s known for being one of the most toxic streamers, having videos surface of him AFK-ing, yelling nonsensically at his camera, intentionally feeding, and flaming his teammates. Supporting a despised champion like Aatrox may not be as bad as his previous actions, but it’s still not well-regarded.

The Biggest Rework in League’s History

Aatrox’s upcoming rework, set to go live in the next few months, is Riot’s largest single-champion gameplay update in League’s history. Players can expect major changes to Aatrox’s abilities and playstyle.
