When Will League of Legends’ 10-Year Anniversary Event Take Place?

League of Legends is almost 10 years old, and it’s still going strong. Since October 2009, Riot Games has created over 100 champions and nearly a thousand skins. The game’s map has changed and the meta has evolved.

With an incredible eight million concurrent players on a daily basis, League is the most popular PC game in the world, surpassing the combined player count of the top ten games on Steam, including CS:GO and Dota 2.

To celebrate the game’s success, Riot is hosting a special 10th-anniversary event. The event will feature livestreams and showcase League’s new and improved logo. It’s an exciting time for League of Legends fans as Riot will also reveal details about the game’s future, including the 2020 preseason, Teamfight Tactics’ next big content update, and more.

When does the event begin?

The event starts on Oct. 16 and is expected to run throughout the day. Specific details about the event have yet to be revealed. However, there will be a special 10th Anniversary Edition of “Riot Pls” at 7pm CT, where Riot will showcase some of their favorite moments from the game’s history.
