Riot Games Announces New Virtual Music Group for League of Legends
Riot Games has unveiled True Damage, the latest virtual music group set to make waves in League of Legends. This year’s group will present a new song at Worlds 2019, the highly anticipated event for LoL fans.
True Damage features a lineup of talented artists, with the exception of Soyeon from (G)I-DLE, who is returning to voice Akali for a second year. Becky G, Keke Palmer, Jared “Duckwrth” Lee, and Umar “Thutmose” Ibrahim are the other notable artists joining the True Damage rappers.
In 2018, K/DA’s hit song and music video “POP/STARS” captivated the audience just before the final match between Invictus Gaming and Fnatic. It quickly soared to the top of South Korean music charts and amassed over 275 million views on YouTube.
True Damage will make a grand comeback with their exclusive Worlds finals song “GIANTS” on November 10, coinciding with the final match of Worlds 2019. Fans can expect an electrifying performance during the opening ceremony of the finals.
