When does the ranked season 9 of League of Legends end?

League of Legends players are hurrying to increase their rank before the end of the season. The ranked season is coming to a close to make room for updates to Summoner’s Rift, new items, and balance changes. The 2020 preseason will bring major changes, but players are more concerned about the deadline for the season nine grind.

What time does the League ranked season end?
According to Riot’s support page, the League ranked queues will likely be turned off at midnight in your local server time.

Any game that starts before midnight will count toward the season nine ranked season. This means that players have until the last minute to secure a victory and achieve their desired rank. However, be cautious as a loss in that game could demote you back into Silver and make you lose all the season’s ranked rewards.

What can we expect from the 2020 preseason?
Although ranked queues will be disabled, Riot has big plans for the 2020 season. The terrain on Summoner’s Rift will change depending on dragon spawns, presenting new strategic opportunities for players. The addition of U-shaped areas in top and bot lanes will create more chances for junglers to gank. This change has divided players, as it may disrupt one-vs-one and two-vs-two matchups. In response, top and bot players may prioritize vision over fighting.

Jungle pathing will also see adjustments, affecting the experience and gold gained from camps. In addition, new support and lethality items will bring freshness to all lanes.

When does the 2020 preseason go live?
The 2020 preseason, along with Patch 9.23, is expected to go live on November 20th.
