What’s happening with H2K’s League roster?

H2K Gaming Facing Issues with Team Dynamics

H2K Gaming, a popular esports team, had a successful year in 2016. They made it to the semifinals of the European League Championship Series playoffs and even secured a spot at Worlds. After a loss to Samsung Galaxy, they signed Fabian “Febiven” Diepstraten to further improve their roster.

However, things took a turn for the worse for H2K Gaming. The team faced several challenges that affected their performance.

The Departure of FORG1VEN

Konstantinos “FORG1VEN” Tzortziou, the team’s AD carry, announced his departure from H2K Gaming. In a Facebook post, he expressed his frustration with what he perceived as inferior talent in the solo lanes and jungle. FORG1VEN had previously left other teams under unfavorable conditions, so H2K should have been prepared for his departure.

A Duo Lane Change

In response to FORG1VEN’s departure, H2K Gaming decided to replace the entire duo lane. VandeR, the team’s support, had difficulty finding a suitable replacement. As a result, both VandeR and FORG1VEN will not be playing in the upcoming split.

Management’s Controversial Decisions

H2K Gaming’s management, particularly owner Richard Wells, has faced criticism for their handling of player contracts and salaries. Wells opposes high player salaries and believes they should be tied to league revenues. This viewpoint has caused controversy and strained the team’s relationship with its players.

While H2K Gaming is expected to perform well in 2017, these issues raise concerns about the team’s long-term stability and relationship with its players.
